Tracy Carmichael, PhD ~ Board Member

Dr. Tracy Carmichael has dutifully served The Luevano Foundation for nearly 15 years on the scholarship selection committee, as Executive Director, and now on the Board of Directors. Currently, she serves as Chief Operating Officer at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County & The Inland Empire. Dr Carmichael has spent over 20 years working with educational nonprofits focused on educational youth programming within historically underserved communities across the state. Dr. Carmichael holds a B.A. in criminology from UCI, an M.A. in educational research from the University of Michigan, and a Ph.D. in education from UC Irvine. She is a proud resident of Long Beach, where she resides with her husband Matt and her twin boys, Owen & Milo.
