Since 1983, annual scholarships have been awarded to students who have demonstrated economic need and academic potential. The foundation has simultaneously nurtured an endowment, which now totals over $500,000.

Each year the Luévano Foundation provides $1,000 tuition scholarships to Latino students entering grades 6-8 at an Orange County Catholic School. Scholarships are based on academic achievement and financial need. The selection process takes place in the Spring and students are notified in April.

Students at one of the following schools, who meet the scholarship requirements, may apply for the scholarship by obtaining an application from their school administration:

Saint Anne Elementary School in Santa Ana

Saint Joachim Elementary School in Costa Mesa

Saint Joseph Elementary School in Santa Ana

Partnering with Mater Dei and Servite High Schools

The Luévano Foundation is proud to partner with both Mater Dei and Servite High Schools. Through this unique partnership, each of these high schools awards one graduating 8th Luévano awardee a high school scholarship to continue their Catholic education. This is a four-year scholarship, pending the student’s good academic standing. This high school partnership offers an aspiring student eight years of Catholic education and formation.
